HIs tomb wasn't empty, it was full of my sin....

Easter is such a special day to me and my family. I have always enjoyed this holiday more than almost any other day we celebrate. Not only is it spring and everything is in bloom, but it is also the day that our Lord, Jesus Christ died for our sins. Our family always gets together on this day and just spend the day simply being a family and knowing that there is a God that is bigger than anyone or anything. I hope that everyone had a blessed Easter Day.

Happy Easter!!

Your family is precious! A friend here in the Houston area sent me the link to your blog. We live in Houston. Last year our 4th baby girl had a 12-hour open heart surgery at 10 days old by Dr. Fraser to save her life . Dylon could not be in better hands with the whole team there at Texas Children's Hospital. Please call me if I can be of any help to you. Jackie's care page is at www.carepages.com, care page name is JacquelinesCarePage.
Blessings,

Saw the mention on Kelly's blog. I pray that your little boy's surgery goes very well. I'm in B'ham, or I'd help you out with the yardsale, since I love them so much.

What a beautiful family. My son, Zachary (now 9, almost 10) was operated on by Dr. Fraser, and we live in Houston. If you need anything while here, let me know. Also, I have a book I'd love to send you. If you send me your address (mrsgwag@hotmail.com), I'll get it to you. Wish I could help with your garage sale. Amy & I both go to Houston's First Baptist. If you're looking for a place to worship, we'd love to have you! If you need anything, you can call me at 832-628-6003. Praying God's blessings on you!

Hello. I commented earlier about being from Houston. Here is the link to the Ronald McDonald house if you are interested. You can have your surgeon in Houston refer you. Again, please let me know if I can do anything to help out.

Hello Shelli, Just wanted to let you know that your family will be in my prayers, especially for your little one that has to have heart surgery. I know how hard this can and will be. My grandson had open heart surgery through the sternum also, at 3 weeks old. We knew there was a problem before he was born and we are thankful for that. But to know that our God is in control of everything that went on with our little one, I mean what more can you ask for. It was probably the hardest thing me and my family went through, but we came out of it stronger in our faith, and He has taught us so much. As our pastor said this past Sunday, "You are a candidate for a miracle." My grandson is 2 months old now, and he's beautiful, for you see "We are candidates for a miracle too!"

Shelli,
I came to your blog through Kelly's. I live in Demopolis, about 3 hours north of you, I think. I have to tell you, I HATE having yard sales, but about 2 weeks ago, started cleaning out my closet and piling up stuff in my dining room. My husband asked me why (as I usually just give stuff away or head to the Salvation Army) and I told him I was going to have a yard sale (yeah right)! Apparently, I just didn't know it possibly wouldn't be my own! if we can figure out some way for you to get this stuff, I have a ton! Also, like many others have commented, my mother lives outside of Houston and I know she would be honored to help out in anyway possible while you are there. You and your family will remain in my prayers.

I have 3 boys, too and live in Houston so if there's anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask. I wouldn't trust my kids anywhere but Texas Children's. Dylon's in good hands! We will be praying for Dylon and your family. God Bless Ya'll!

Praying for Dylan tonight and will continue to pray for your whole family as you get closer to the surgery. Your boys have such beautful little faces with sweet, sweet smiles. I see Jesus in their faces, as I look at their pictures on your blog! I enjoyed reading! Praying too, for God to provide the money for medical expenses.

Cute little guys you have on your hands! I have 3 boys myself so I know what a blessing they are.

Praying for you and your sweet family during this time.

I got your email about meeting in Montgomery, and unfortunately, it is about 2 hours away which is not a problem, but traveling with my daughter is. What day will y'all be meeting. I may can get the stuff to the woman in Birmingham (if she wouldn't mind bringing it) or I might can get somebody to take it to Montgomery for me. Just let me know--my email is jabber_jaw02@yahoo.com.
